The new unit commander in charge of Zuba unity of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Chorrie Muta’a, has reiterated readiness to enlighten motorists on safety, especially those plying the highways.
Muta’a, who made this known during an interview with newsmen, at the Send-forth ceremony for the former commander of the unity, Mr. Paulinus Akpotobu, at the weekend in Zuba, urged the road users to always obey the traffic rules while plying the roads.
He said that he would deem it necessary to checkmate the activities of motorists along Zuba-Suleja expressway, in order to maintain a hitch-free traffic flow.
He further pointed out that his leadership would provide the needed facilities for officers of the unity, to boost their morale at work.
He therefore charged the officers of the unit to co-operate with him to move the Zuba FRSC unit command to the next level, while advising them to remain committed to their duties at all times.
Also, he urged the authorities of Gwagwalada Area council to support the unit, in all ramifications, to improve road safety in the area
