From Ibrahim Sidi Muh’d, Gusau
Zamfara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has condoled Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle and the people of the state over the demise of the State Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha.
In a statement issued by the Zamfara State Chairman of the NUJ, Comrade Abdulrazak Bello Kaura and made available to newsmen today (Wednesday), described the death of Ibrahim Mallaha as a formidable lacuna not only to politics but unforgettable in Journalism upon his friendly approach to media.
“It is with heavy heart, but with total submission to the will of Almighty God, that I, on behalf of all Members of the NUJ Zamfara State Council, extend the Union’s heartfelt condolence to your humble self, entire family of the deceased, members of the PDP, and good people of the State, over the demise of the State PDP Chairman, Ibrahim Mallaha Gusau, which sad event occurred on Monday, October 12, 2020.
“Indeed, Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha Gusau died when his wise counsels would be more cherished. But all praise be to Almighty God as he lived a life worthy of commendation and emulation, which will certainly console us all.
“I make bold to say that we, the journalists in the State have enjoyed a good working relationship with late Ibrahim Mallaha. In all the interactions we had, he was found to be generous, resilient, amiable, tolerant and a down-to-earth personality and committed leader, who led by example.
