An elder in the Bauchi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bibi Dogo has cautioned Youths vanguards of the Party to always follow procedure and due process in throwing their weight behind any candidate they are supporting for particular office.
Dogo stated this when he addressed newsmen in Bauchi while reacting to a call by the PDP National Youth Vanguard that asked the National Working Committee of the Party to fill the vacancy of the deputy National Chairman of the Party with Senator Suleiman Nazeef Gamawa.
He said “ in a State like Bauchi, State Governor is the leader of the Party and every Politician seeking for Political office most start seeking for support from his ward at the grassroots , local government , state zonal headquarters and the state council and most seek the blessing of the state leader of the party who is the state chief executive before jumping to other states and national working committee of the party”.
Dogo who is the national chairman of the coalition against corruption and other social vices said many time jumping the procedure bring chaos mist understanding and sometimes led to the non presentation of the candidates they are supporting.
