Governor Aminu Bello Masari has assured electorates that they will not regret returning APC to power in the February and March elections.
The governor gave this assurance while addressing a large gathering of APC
supporters in Matazu and Musawa at the start of statewide tour of APC campaign in preparation for this year’s general elections.
According to the governor, the APC led government at both tiers, had impacted positively on the lives of people in various ways.
Masari maintained that, in Katsina State, most promises made in 2015 have been redeemed. He announced that all requests made will be compiled for necessary attention after victory at the elections.
The governor vowed to consolidate on the achievements recorded in selected priority areas.
In the two local governments visited, the state APC chairman, Alhaji Shitu S. Shitu received thousands of defectors. He assured them of just and fair treatment like older members.
Several speakers pointed out that the APC is out to better the lots of ordinary Nigerians, and urged electorates to strive hard and return APC to power in the February and March elections.
During the campaigns, the governor , in company of top government functionaries and APC chieftains and the party’s candidates, paid homage to Fagacin Katsina, Alhaji Ibrahim Maikano and Sarkin Musawan Katsina, Alhaji Muhamad Gidado Usman as a mark of respect to traditional institutions.
