All Progressives Congress (APC), has said political thugs in Edo who refused to embrace technical and Vocational skills were angry with the State governor, Godwin Obaseki.
Edo State APC youth leader, Valentine Aisuen said this at a Media briefing on Wednesday in Benin City, where he passed vote of confidence on the government for setting up a Edo job portal in which hundred of unemployed youths had been engaged.
He condemned the vile press criticisms against Governor Obaseki of alleged abandonment of top politicians and youths by Comrade Tony Kabaka, a former aide to a former governor of the State, Adams Oshiomhole on Monday.
Aisuen stated that the State government will not associate with thugs, adding that no amount of blackmail will make the government negotiate good governance with dissident.
According to him, “It is obvious that Tony Kabaka who has zero academic qualification, no technical or Vocational skills and who clearly cannot fit into Edo State governance system.”
The APC youth leader who was accompanied by other youth leaders in the State, dismissed the allegations of the State governor’s plans to retire members of the party, adding that the membership of the dissident group in ruling party in the State can no longer be guaranteed.
