From Lawal Sa’idu Funtua, Katsina
The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Plateau State, Barrister Solomon Dalong has warned that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would be held responsible if anything happens to General Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking to newsmen yesterday at the Katsina venue of the APC presidential campaign, Dalong condemned the death wish advert on Buhari sponsored by Governor Ayo Fayose.
“It is good that they make their intention open, we now know their plan and even if a mischievous bird fly over Buhari’s house we will hold PDP responsible” he added.
He described the alleged attack on Buhari’s personality by the PDP as the ranting of a dying party, saying their mischief would not deter the opposition.
Dalong described the speculation on Buhari’s health as laughable as according to him “leadership is about credibility not age. After all it is not about playing football”.
The gubernatorial candidate urged people to strive to bring change through the use of their votes in the forthcoming general election.
He advised electorates to resist the temptation of collecting sweets, rice and biscuits to cast votes to wrong candidates.
Dalong urged APC faithful to resist the temptation of being provoked to embark on violence, saying someone assured of victory cannot fight.
