The World Bank has ranked Jigawa state government as best among 36 states of Nigeria in terms of provision of qualitative road network across the state.
The Acting Governor in the state, Barrister Ibrahim Hassan Haxejia dropped the hint while speaking to news men in Dutse the state capital yesterday.
He explained that, this was achieved as a result of Governor Muhammad Abubakar Badaru’s commitment to serve his people in the state.
Barrister Hadejia further explained that, the report from World Bank also credited Jigawa state as second in transparency in leadership.
According to him, the World Bank report also ranked Jigawa state as fourth in terms of provision of hygienic water and provision of infrastructures to its citizens.
The Acting Governor also assured that the APC administration in the state, will focus more on human development in this year 2018 for empowering the Jigawa people to remain self reliant.
He urged the people, to support Badaru’s administration for more dividend of democracy across the 27 local government in the state.
