Vote for Buhari first, then our candidates – Imo AA begins campaign for president

The Action Alliance, Imo state chapter, on Monday, February 4, started the campaign tours for the reelection of President Buhari.

The party described Buhari’s reelection as something that has been “signed, sealed, and delivered” at it began the campaign in Okwe in Onuimo local government, Punch reports.

The party chieftains in the state, among which were the AA governorship candidate in the state, Uche Nwosu and the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives for Okigwe North, Simeon Iwunze, have all said Buhari’s victory in Imo state is very certain.

Nwosu said: “President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory is assured on February 16. Vote for President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC, after that vote for all the AA candidates. Do the same on March 2.

“I have come to work and do things like a young man. As a governor, I will encourage agriculture and support Onuimo people in rice production.

“Apart from completing the school projects, I will digitalise the Imo school system. I have a comparative advantage because I am a youth. I understand what youth and women empowerment is all about. As a chief of staff and commissioner for lands, I empowered thousands of youths.

“The Action Alliance government in Imo state will offer free and qualitative education. We will give free medical care to ages zero to seven children and our fathers and mothers who are 75 years and above.”

The governorship candidate also called on the electorates in the state to protect their votes as he accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of having plans to rig the elections.
