Gombe state Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has distributed relief materials to victims of communal clash between Billiri and Shongom communities and those affected by flood.Distributing the relief materials to the affected victims yesterday in Billiri, the Executive Secretary of the Agency, Danlami Arab Rukujei, said the relief materials donated to the victims were in two categories.He said food items which were distributed to the victims were donated by the Gombe state government, while the building materials were donated by the Presidential Committee Initiative on North east.According to him, relief materials distributed to victims include; 75 pieces of ceiling fan, 45 bundle of zing, 75 bags of cement, nails, 25 bags of maize, 15 bag of millet, and 5 jerry cans of 25 litres of palm oil.While handing over the relief materials to Mai Tangale Abdu Buba Maisheru, secretary of the agency said the relief materials were meant for victims that their houses were destroyed.He sympathized with the victims, pledged government support to bring lasting solution between the two communities.Responding, Mai Tangale Abdu Buba Maisheru thanked the state government, SEMA, and Presidential Committee Initiative on North east for the gesture rendered to the affected victims in the area.
