A University lecturer in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Abuja, Prof. Saleh Dauda, has commended the Author, Mr Danjuma who wrote a book entitled “Political Participation amongst the Gade people of Central Nigeria”.
He gave the commendation while reviewing the book at Kuje town hall on Saturday, urging the Gade people to assist the Author financially to enable him to write more book for the benefit of the youth.
He described the Author as a man who has the love for his people, while advising him to send the book to the various higher institutions in the country for the record purpose (s).
Also reviewing the book, a lecturer in the Department of Languages at the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Hon. Attahiru Abdullahi, urged the Gade people to deem it necessary to write books that would be of benefit to the generation yet unborn.
Presenting a paper tagged “Education is the Instrument of Peace that can Guarantee Political Participation among the Sons and Daughters of Gade in the North Central Nigeria”, the Director in charge of Junior Secondary School (JSS) at the Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB) in Abuja, Alhaji Hussain Bako Kuje, called on the Gade people to send their children to school.
Not left out, the Author of the book, Mr Danjuma said he wrote the book in order to educate the Gade people about their history and how far they had gone politically.
He urged the Gade youth to cultivate the habit of writing books for the benefit of Gade people in FCT and Nigeria as a whole.
