The Student Union Government (SUG) of the University of Abuja in collaboration with some private companies have commenced the first international trade fair from 17th – 20th of April, 2018.
In an interview, the SUG president of the University, Bashir Abeeb Obasanjo, said the trade fair was organized to enable the students who were studying Business Administration and others to be practical oriented in their field of studies.
He disclosed that over 70 private firms participated in the trade fair including WEMA Bank.
Obasanjo called on the management of the University to always embrace the students’ creativity or initiative in order to fast track development in the University.
Also speaking, the Managing Director of Assets Media, Mr Akinbohun Babafide, pointed out that the commodities at the trade fair would be sold to the students at the discounted rate.
Babajide charged the Federal Government to improve the socio-economic growth of the country to reduce the poverty level of the Nigeria youths.
