UniAbuja SUG gets new officials

The Students Union Government (SUG) of the University of Abuja has sworn-in the newly elected executive members of the union at the permanent site of the university.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony, the outgoing president of the union, Mr. Ajiboye Abdul-AzeezOkoye, charged the students of the University to support the new executives of the SUG.
Okoye called on the management of the University to carry the officials of the SUG along in the scheme of things.
Also speaking, the new SUG President of the University, Mr Abeeb Bashir Obasanjo, said his administration would give the necessary attention to the welfare of the students.
He urged the students as well as executive members of the Union to co-operate with him to move the university to higher height.
Obasanjo promised to be fair to all students in the discharge of his duties, and ensured that the students would be comfortable.
Vice-chancellor of the University, Prof. Michael Adikwu who was represented at the occasion, called for good working relationship with the SUG for the progress of the University.
He advised the SUG officials to be good ambassadors of the university at all times.
