Trovit, the leading search engine for classifieds ads in Europe and Latin America, has launched its search engine in Nigeria. Opened in December 2014, this new market with three verticals (homes, cars and jobs) further expands the company’s presence in Africa.
With a strong presence in Europe and Latin America, Trovit decided, in 2014, to broaden its search engine’s presence in Africa by launching its services in Nigeria, adding to the two other African countries it already had a presence in: South Africa and Morocco.
“Nigerians can now search for jobs, cars or homes by using Trovit’s search engine and mobile apps. The search engine currently collects over 115,000 listings from around 120 Nigerian sites”, the company stated.
In 2015, the company said it trusts Trovit Nigeria will significantly grow in all areas: number of listings, number of partners and traffic.
Founded in 2006, Trovit was started in Spain and rapidly grew to its current presence in 39 countries around the world and provides a global overview of all the market’s classified listings in the employment, second-hand cars and property sectors, by allowing its users to search for listings published in hundreds of sites in only one place.
