Chairman of Nasarawa United FC of Lafia Barrister Isaac Danladi has attributed the club’s decent run in the league so far to the resolve and approach of the club’s management before the commencement of the 2013/2014 season.
Danladi who is also the chairman, Association of Club Owners in Nigeria said that the management went for a tested and trusted hand in former Kano Pillars handler, Mohammed Babaganaru. Danladi stated that Babaganaru was allowed the free hand to assemble his technical crew and players he feel could help the club achieve their set target and goals for the season which according to him is yielding the necessary results for the club.
“I told whoever cares to listen that we were coming to the league not to come and rub shoulders with the old timers but to see how we can stabilize. We had to employ the services of a tested and trusted highly experienced technical coach in the person of Mohammed Babaganaru and we gave him an open cheque to hire members of his own technical crew that can assist him to achieve the mission and the vision of the club for the season.” he said.
