Taraba students urged to remain committed to studies

The Special Assistant to Taraba State Governor on Public Affairs, Mr Emmanuel Bello, has urged the Taraba students at all University of Abuja to always remain committed to their studies.
Bello who made the call while addressing Taraba State Students Union (TASSU) during the public lecture/orientation organized for new students at the Mini campus of the University on Thursday.
He also advised the students to shun social vices such as cultism examination mal practices as well as drug abuse.
He further called on the students to work hard towards getting first class or second during their final examination in the university.
He therefore, charged the students to be good ambassadors of Taraba State throughout their staying in the institution.
Speaking earlier, the President of the union, Amina Suleiman Bente, said her leadership would continue to contribute positively towards the development of the union.
Bente, however, thanked the people who graced the occasion. Meanwhile, the other officials of the unions in the university of Abuja attended the ceremony.
