Meanwhile, the Evwreni Elite Forum ( EEF) has petitioned the Chairman of Police Service Commission ( PSC) over allegations that the Delta State Police Commissioner, Hafiz Muhammed Inuwah and the A Division Ughelli Divisional Police Officer ( DPO) Mr Kelvin Zuokumor have allegedly compromised in their line of professional duties
The Petition signed by counsel to the Forum, Mr Abert Mumakai Unagha , a copy made available to our correspondent, stated that the Commissioner of Police and the Divisional Police Officer ( DPO) have compromised in their professional duty in the ongoing crisis in Evwerni Community, adding that despite the several killing ok taking place in the area, the Police Officers have not made any arrest and are not prepared to make any arrest hence the Petition.
Part of the petition reads: “For the avoidance of doubts, one Mr Omoghene was brutally murdered in cold blood and his corpse taken away till date his corpse has not been found and no action taken either by the DPO or the CP.”
When contacted, the Police Commissioner Hafiz Muhammed Inuwah said “ all the allegations against us are not true. I challenge all the parties to come with proof that we have compromised in our duty line, It is entirely all lies.
