Itodo, who has two goals in three match, said he would do everything humanly possible to ensure he adhere strictly to the technical crew instructions, play as a team for the interest of the set target.
“It’s not just a boast; it’s what I believe I can do.
“I want to score 14 goals, but I can go even higher than that. Right now we are building a new team for premier league next season by God grace, we have quality chief coach and assistants, and the spirit in the team is very high.
“I sincerely thank everybody in the team for corporation, my parents who are praying for me fervently, my coaches who is giving me the necessary tactics and my manager who is working assiduously for my success, I thank myself after scoring my first goal of the season in the 2-1 defeat against Kwara United last Sunday and another one today (yesterday) against Jigawa Golden Stars.
“After this breakthrough, I am bold to say more goals are coming. At least, I expect to score fourteen goals before the end of the season because we still have fifteen matches to play.
“Surely, these are signs that collectively and individually we are going to do well in the season. On my part I have vowed to keep banging in the goals as my own quota to uplifting this team,” he said.
