In a bid to stop the spate of defections ahead of the general elections, the Presidential committee of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South South zone, has declared its readiness to reconcile all members of the party who were aggrieved by the outcome of the primaries.
This was the outcome of a meeting of the Presidential Committee South-South Zone was held on Saturday in Abuja, at the instance of the Vice National Chairman of the Party for the region, Dr Cairo Ojuogboh.
The Chairman BOT of the PDP, Chief Tony Anenih chaired the meeting assisted by the South-South Zone Coordinator, Sen. Liyel Imoke (CON) Governor of Cross River State.
According to a communiqué from the meeting, other members who attended by all Governors for the Zone, including Seriake Dickson, Governor Uduaghan, Governor Akpabio Godswill, and the Coordinator Governor Liyel Imoke. Others include all Ministers, all State Chairmen and all State Coordinators. His Royal Highness, King Turner was also in attendance.
