Set up coronavirus test centre in Kebbi, CAN urges govt

The Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kebbi State chapter Von. Dr. Ayuba Y. Kanta has appealed to the Kebbi State Government to setup Coronavirus pandemic test center in the state.
He stated this on Monday while addressing journalists on the Esther festivities celebration adding that the test center will go a long way to assist the medical profession and the affected victims if setup.
He said that despite that the state has not been experienced any cases of the corona virus pandemic in the state but emphasis that the all the necessary arrangements should be done to protect any emergency cases.
Dr.Kanta said that the association has complied with the government directive over the gathering and to stay at home as well as to maintain the social distancing.
“We have divided the congregation prayers into two and three parts, some will enter after one hours one hour, which it’s depends on church, we thank the efforts of the state government for the establishment of the special task Force for the curtailing of the menace,” he added.
He explained further that the state CAN has embarked on the sensitization campaign across the all churches, we have done a lot in educating the people on the danger of the disease.
