Sarkin Yakin Bauchi tasks communities on sustainable peace

The newly turbaned Sarkin Yakin Bauchi Alhaji Aliyu Yakubu Lame has charged his communities to be security conscious and do all they could to ensure sustainable peace in their areas.
Alhaji Aliyu made the call while speaking with reporters at the Emir of Bauchi Palace on Monday in Bauchi.
He said “after I was turbaned Sarkin Yaki Bauchi one of the King Makers in Bauchi emirates District Head of Lame , I went to Gumau I held a meeting with traditional ,religious and community leaders, including all stake holders in the area where I preach peace message to them , because there is no alternative to peace. I called on all religious clerics to use their preaching’s for the promotion of moral values and peaceful coexistence in the society, so also the traditional and community leaders, I pleaded with Fulani communities living in our area to meet and chart out a road map on peace , any act of crime and criminality moral decadence will not be accepted.”
Sarkin Yaki said “peaceful said that there cannot be meaningful development across the country without peace, unity and love among the various ethnic groups and religions, peaceful coexistence should always be paramount in your minds since no development could be attained in an atmosphere of chaos and acrimony.”
The traditional ruler said urged them to use their knowledge and experience in the promotion of peace and they should campaign for peace and declare war against moral decadence.
He called on all his brothers who contested the seat with him to joins hands together for the development of their area and pledged to work hard for the development of their communities.
