The governor made the call yesterday during the luncheon organized by the state government at the Government House, Damaturu after the two Raka’at prayer at the Eids ground in the state, to celebrate the end of their 30 days fasting.

He enjoined them to exercise patient waiting for god’s answer to their prayers in his own way and in his own determined time.

The deputy governor also stressed the need for them to love one another and visit one another in their homes to rejoice with and encourage one another especially during this trying period that they found themselves in.

He similarly advised them forgive one another their offences, so as to receive Allah’s blessing.

The luncheon was attended by many dignitaries that included the Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly and other members of the House, the state commissioner of police as well as the Commander, 3 Division special operation, Battalion Army, members of the state Executive Council, APC party members among others.

Highlights of the Ramadan festivity was the hardship Muslims men, women and little children  experienced trekking from their homes, some 40 kilometers, to attend the Two raka’at prayers at the various Eid grounds, as there was restriction on vehicle movement.
