Chairman of Ogun State chapter of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, Chief Ahmed Kuku Aboki has called on the relevant authorities to urgently contain the excesses of Oluomo Akibu Titilayo before it goes out of hand.
Speaking with journalists in Ijebu Ode, the Ogun State capital, RTEAN chairman said the so called Titilayo Efele has been harassing, intimidating RTEAN members in the state, adding that there is never a time he was a leader of the Association in the state as claimed by him.
He said some of the RTEAN members he deprived from loading their vehicles in motor parks across the state were the ones that protested to the Police Area Command in Igbeba, Ijebu Ode.
Ahmed Kuku Aboki said, he was surprised to read in some national dailies that the people who protested are not RTEAN members, rather alleged them to be hoodlums.
While seriously appealing to the Governor and other relevant authorities on the need to quickly savage the situation on ground before it degenerates into a major crisis, the state chairmen, who also doubles as the national treasurer, said the Association is bigger than an individual.
“ We are peace loving people. We all belong to the same Association, “.He added.
