The Attorney-General of Lagos state, Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem, Attorney-General of Ondo State, Ademola Adeyeye Olawoye and 29 others made the list of legal practitioners elevated to the rank of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN).
This legal practitioner’s privileges Committee rose from its 133rd plenary session, yesterday and announce the legal practitioners who have distinguished themselves as advocates and academics.
Unveiling the list, the Secretary, Hadizatu Mustapha, said that the thirty-one practitioners were selected from one hundred six people that applied for the rank.
According to her, out of the one hundred and sixty (106), eighty three(83) were from the advocate category while twenty-three were from Academic category.
Out of the two female that applied, one made the list.
The swearing-in ceremony of the thirty one legal practitioners will take place during 2018/2019 New Legal Year of the Supreme Court scheduled for September 24th, 2018.
Apart from the Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem, Olubowale Taiwo, Lagos state Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaje Adigun Fagbhun, Directoe Nigeria Law School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, Oba Maduabuchi, Essien Udom, and Prof. OLUYEMISI Adefunke Bamgbose made the list.
Others are Metong Bertram Robert, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, George Chinedu Igbokwe and Oluwole Osamudiame Iyamu.
Also, Emmanuel Ozoemenam Achukwu, Kenneth Chukwuemeka Ahia, Louis Maduforo Alozie, Adeyinka Patrick Olumide-Fasika, Johnson Olalekan Ojo, Woke Surname Agunbiade, Olayode Olumide-Olumide Delano.
Going further in the list are, Tanimu Muhammed Inuwa, Sonny Oluchukwu Wogu, Prof. Offorinze Dike Amucheazi, Adewale Eyitemi Atake, Ikhide Ehighelua and Edmond Chinonso Obiagwu.
And, Prof. Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi, Cosmas Ikechukwu Enweluzo, Ishaka Dikko Mudi and Olabode Olutoyin Olanipekun.
