The young football administrator gave the advice when he paid a visit to the State Sports Continuity Development Service (CDS) group at their training ground inside 82 Division Cantonment, Abakpa, Enugu state on Friday.
Barrister Ezeaku urged youths who are undergoing their mandatory one year national service on the need to take advantage of their passion for long term benefits and explore entrepreneurial skills in other to prepare ahead for what life would offer them after service and charged them to also believe in God and observe the act of charity.
“Your passion can take you places. That you studied Medicine, Law, Economics and other courses doesn’t mean you can’t work in sports. Not everybody will turn professional in the sporting world but anybody can benefit on long-term basis from sports and your course of study won’t prevent you”.
“No matter what you do, believe in God and put your challenges before Him. Develop the spirit of giving till it hurts, trust me guys, that is the best sacrifice you can make. Look within your environment, those you can help are many, do it and see God’s blessings multiplying in your life”.
The Legal practitioner concluded by wishing the Youth Corps Members all the best in their life endeavours and promised to come around often as time permits.
Responding, the Enugu State NYSC football team Coach who doubles as the Sports CDS coordinator, Mr Godwin Njoku, poured encomiums on the Team Manager for coming around.
“Honestly I am happy that you came around as your advice will go a long way in helping us. I tell them some of these things everyday and I am very happy they heard it from someone who has seen it all and hopefully some, if not all, will have a change of attitude”.
