The provost of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) College of Education Zuba in Gwagwalada Area Council, Dr Muhammad Gambo Hamza, has urged the matriculating students of the college to face their studies squarely.
Hamza, made the call while presenting his speech during the college’s matriculation ceremony on Friday, also charged the fresh students to be good ambassadors of the institution.
He pleaded with the students to pursue their education with strict moral behaviour, reiterating that Zuba Collage of Education is a place for serious academic pursuit.
He said the management would continue to arrest some challenges facing the institution for the benefit of the students.
He further assured the students that the door of the college is opened for genuine complaints, while calling on the students to obey the laid down rules and regulations guiding the college.
Provost, however, advised fresh students against social vices such as cultism, examination malpractices and truancy.
