Professionals urged to take advantage of FG’s infrastructure budget

The Minister State ll,Power ,Works and Housing ,Surv.Suleiman Zarma has tasked professionals in the construction Industry to take advantage of the Federal Government 1% infrastructural budget allocated to them.
Zarma made the call during a reception dinner hosted for him by the Registrars of Professional Regulation Bodies in the Construction Industry at the weekend in Abuja.
The Minister who told the professional bodies that “this is the best government in the history of Nigeria to allocate 1%of the budget to infrastructure.
She also challenged the professional bodies by saying “what are we doing as professionals to enable us anchor and take advantage of the benefits of the allocated to infrastructure budget “.
“I want to admonished you professionals to take off maximum benefits of this opportunities and when you do so , the government of day will take the moves to the next level”.
Moreso, in this hall, there are alots of professionals planners in finances,planners in politics ,just as the chairman said we need to part take in politics ,”bulky yes ,but we can still come out and make it “.
According to the minister, “As professionals we need to know that we can have difficulty cost but let alone pass to reintroduce transmission cost ,i believe we should be able to use our argument in our professional practise to win the budget”, Zarma said .
Earlier, the chairman of the occasion and the Minister of State for Solid Material Development ,Abubakar Bwari in his address said “this grant reception for the minister was well deserved explaining that as a politician there are no dull moments with Zarma because one must learnt more things with from him.”
Meanwhile, the Acting Chairman ,Committee of Registrars (ESV.)(Barr.)Ifeanyi Uzonwanne in his welcome address while hosting the reception dinner and award to Zarma said ,the Minister is worthy of exaltation of the honour.
