President Nigerian Society of Engineers lauds El Rufai Urban Renewal projects

The President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr. Babagana Mohammed FNSE has has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing urban renewal projects of the state government under the leadership of Gov. Nasir el-Rufai.
He gave the commendation when he led other officials of the Society on a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of kaduna State Road Agency (KADRA) yesterday
Engr Babagana Mohammed said El-Rufa’i giant strides towards giving the state a new face lift through his urban renewal projects is a step in the right direction.
He stressed that the urban Renewal projects is a demonstration of focus leadership that brings dividends of democracy to the people
According to him engineering profession is about making things better for the improved living condition of the people and the road projects is part of it.
He added that Nigerians Society of Engineers is excited by the numbers of engineers who are working for the unban Renewal Road projects to be successful.
He commended the Agency for ensuring that the stardard set are adhered to in the construction of roads in kaduna state.
Engr Babagana assured kaduna State of continuous support of the society in order to ensure that the Agency headed by one of their own excel .
In his own remarks the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of KADRA Engr, Mohammed Lawal Magaji lauded the support his Agency is recovering from Kaduna State Chapter of KADRA since inception.
KADRA according to him was established with the mandate to construct, upgrade, rehabilitate and maintain roads within the state.
He said as Engineers they can attest to the fact that Road infrastructure is one of the greatest challenges of development with the the adverse effects manifesting in Road mishap and lack of accessibility to economic activities.
The KADRA MD/CEO added that this prompted kaduna State Goverment under the leadership of Mallam Nasir El Rufai to unequivocally determined to deliver on Road infrastructure in the state .
