From Nosa Akenzua, Asaba

Police detectives attached to the Delta State Police Command are looking for a 20- year old housewife in Udu area of the state who allegedly killed her husband over money to celebrate Christmas and New Year recently in the area
After the incident, sources said that the suspect had gone into hiding as her whereabouts hitherto remained unknown to many people, especially relations of the husband.
But the Police Commissioner in the state, Mohamed Inuwah who spoke to journalists in Asaba on Sunday, said that the police were determined to fish out the woman from her hiding place, adding that investigation was ongoing as to her whereabouts.
Investigation revealed that trouble started when the woman allegedly made certain demands for the last Christmas and New Year celebration from her husband who was said to have turned down the demands with the explanation that he had provided enough for the family. But the woman insisted on her demands being met despite the explanation of the husband,a situation that however angered the husband who had a scissor with which he hit her with.
The woman who is said to be a seamstress was alleged to be angry at the action of the husband and then reached out for another scissor and allegedly stabbed him in his stomach, leaving him with his intestines gorging out and after allegedly committing the crime, escaped to avoid arrest as the victim was rushed to the hospital on the DSC Expressway but later transferred to another private clinic in Warri where he died.
However, the traditional Prime Minister of Ovwian Community, Napoleon Golohor who spoke to journalists in the area confirmed the incident, adding that it was an unfortunate situation as the incident happened like a mystery.
