Niger state police command has paraded four (4) suspected person arrested with a human head.
The suspects allegedly exhumed the head from a grave to sell at the rate of N2 million in Mashegu local government.
This was contained in a statement issued by ASP Wasiu A. Abiodun, the Police Public Relations Officer, Niger State Command.
According to him, “Police Operatives attached to Ibbi Division arrested four suspects namely; Alhaji Suleiman Abubakar aged 50yrs, Babuga Mamman aged 42yrs, Abdullahi Dogo aged 30yrs and Abubakar Abdullahi 31yrs, all ‘m’ of Sabon Pegi Mashegu LGA, with a human head at Sabon Pegi village.
Abiodun stated further that; “Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects exhumed and severed the human head from Kanti village grave yard via Ibbi Mashegu LGA on the same date at about 0800hrs .
He explained that during interrogation, the suspects confessed that they were contracted to get the human head for the sum of two million naira by one Nasiru of Koko Kebbi State and one Muhammadu of Sabon Pegi at large.
