Kaduna state Police Command said it has put in place comprehensive strategies for a hitch-free Eid-El-Khabir celebration in the State.
This is just as the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC has declared the operational readiness of the command to deploy over 3,000 personnel in the state to tackle security issues during the festivity The Police Public Relation Officer of the Command DSP Yakubu Sabo disclosed this in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
The statement stated that,” In this furtherance of the Community Safety and Crime Prevention Strategy of the Command, before, during and after the celebrations, members of public are hereby advised to take exercise caution and celebrate in moderation.”
The Command also called on residents to be wary of sharing gifts with unknown person and be cautious of unknown persons that come around in the name of felicitation; “Pay extra attention to Children/ward as they go about during the period; be vigilant of your surrounding when making withdrawals for the period especially at ATM;
“Be very sure of your safety before embarking on a visit to new places; and do not leave the entire house empty as you go out to celebrate but ensure that at least one adult is left at home to prevent criminal cashing on your absence; “Ensure all electrical sockets are switched-off when not in use especially when leaving the house, markets or shop,” the Police cautioned.

incidents and other criminal acts.
