Deputy National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Jock Alamba has called on Sen Jeremiah Timbut Useni to accept the outcome of the supplementary rerun election declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC).
He said Governor Simon Lalong won the election in a free and fair contest, calling the PDP candidate to drop the idea of going to court.

While congratulating the governor elect, he all elected members of the party to ensure transparency and commitment to the well-being of Nigerian.
Jock Alamba stated this during an interview with journalists in Jos.
“We respect you but the election was free and fair don’t fall into the temptation of galvanizing yourself as a leader. Real politicians accept defeat,” he said.
He also used the platform to congratulate the State Chairman of APC Hon Letep Dabang, Chief of Staff, John Dafaan, the Director General Buhari/Lalong campaign, Arc Pan Dung Gyang and other stakeholders who contributed positively to ensure the victory of the APC in Plateau State.
“The reelection of Governor Simon Bako Lalong didn’t come to him as a surprise because of his humble disposition, Lalong has demonstrated that he is a leader who take the plight of the people seriously inspite the condemnation witness in the state.”
He explained that the challenges of impatient display against the leadership of the party were a clear indication that their people are very quick to judge wrongly.
The APC Chieftain said the regime should take the task of repositioning the state and work hard to ensure that he achieved a lot in this second tenure because there is a lot of expectations from the people for him to leave his leadership legacy.
