Nigeria’s popular Hip Hop Artiste, Peter Okoye (MrP) of the defunct ‘PSquare team, was at the Estadio de la Ceramica on Saturday to watch Villarreal’s attacker and Nigeria prodigy, Samuel Chukwueze confront Granada’s Ramon Azeez in a thrilling Laliga matchday 1 opener.
MrP, after enjoying the game from the stand, met Chukwueze at the ground after the game and was presented with a Villarreal’s jersey with the latter’s full name inscribed at the back.
Villarreal thereafter tweeted later in the night after the singer and Chukwueze took out time to parley.

Peter PSquare was one of the early arrivals at the Villarreal home ground for the match and the club promptly flaunted his presence as fans drifted in to fill the stands.
Granada’s Nigerian midfielder Ramon Azeez who played as a second half substitute in their away draw against Chukwueze’s Villarreal showed he was thrilled by the presence of Peter Okoye by retweeting the entertainer’s Tweet later in the night.
MrP also expressed his delight in meeting with the players. “Special shout out to all my beautiful African and @laliga fans. #VillarrealVsGranada #holalaligasantander @chukwueze_8 @AzeezRamon12,” the Peter Okoye’s Tweet reads.
Villarreal and Granada served out a thrilling 4-4 draw in their first Laliga game of the 2019/2020 season.
Chukwueze scored Villarreal’s fourth goal of the game – a sublime finish from inside the box following an assist by Santi Carzola.
Azeez came in as a substitute for Yan Brice Eteki in the 69th minute of the game.
Peter PSquare summed it up with his Tweet: “I’m so blessed! Good game tonight guys.”
Peter and his twin brother, Paul Okoye (RudeBoy) Parted ways few years ago after irreconcilable differences that led to the collapse of their much loved group PSquare. Both have gone solo in their different musical careers but their millions of fans and followers still believe that the duo will come back together in the nearest future.
