According to Senate president, the 2019 challenge is not for one person alone; rather for all patriotic Nigerians who have desire to save the country from total collapse.
He assured the party members that after the conduct of primary, who ever emerges winner they would support him and ensure he wins the general election.
While speaking, the former Kano State governor, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, begged Sule Lamido to step down for him as, according to him, he is the perfect person who knows how to unseat the serving president.
He then seeks for the support of delegates and other party members to
give him chances and make Nigeria giant and strong again.
Also in his remarks, former Sokoto State governor, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa promised to support any aspirant who happened to be the winner of the primary election for a better Nigeria.
