PDP presidential primary: David Mark woos Nasarawa delegates for votes

Ahead of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election, a presidential aspirant, Senator David Mark has appealed to all delegates and stakeholders in Nasarawa state to support his presidential aspiration in order to enable him win the party primary and the presidential race in 2019.
Mark who made the call yesterday while addressing PDP delegates and stakeholders at Kini Country Home Hotel in Akwanga Local Government Area of the State, said “I commend you the people of Nasarawa for the warm reception accorded to me, I urge you people in Nasasrawa to be in the fore front to give me the needed support to win.
“If I become the President of this country, I will give Nasarawa State the desired attention because of the proximity to the federal capital. I will ensure that my administration will focus on development projects. Vote PDP in the various political seats at all levels in the coming general elections. PDP believes in restructuring Nigeria. I call on you, stakeholders to look for candidates that will deliver the state and the country as a whole.
Also speaking, the David Mark Presidential Campaign Director General, Senator Zainab Kure, who described Mark as a man that is right to fix the country in its rightful position, said “He is a man that vowed to remain in PDP even if he is going to be the last person. Today he is here to tell you that he wants to be the President of this country. He cannot do it alone if not with your absolute support. He is a man that believes in discipline. A man full of experience, I call on all of you to help him succeed”.
Earlier, the Nasarwa State PDP Chairman, Hon. Francis Orogu, in his remarks, asserted that David Mark is a man that has added value and respect to Nigeria because of his tremendous good records; hence he can fix the country positively in all spheres of development.
“We appreciate all the achievements you have so far recorded in this country. We will give you our maximum support in your presidential aspiration”, Orogu Maintained.
