From Uche Uche, Damaturu
The PDP faction in Yobe State, under the leadership of Yerima Ngama, has declared “unacceptable” the judgment of a federal high court that gave former leader of the party, Adamu Maina Waziri the right to be the recognized as leader of the party in the state.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after a meeting he held with members of his faction in Damaturu the state capital, he said the members have unanimously agreed to give their unalloyed support to Ali Modu Sheriff and to follow him anywhere he goes without reservation.
He said the party in the state is preparing to appeal the federal high court judgment at the federal court of appeal, but added that should Ali Modu Sheriff said he is making a move tomorrow, him and his members would follow suit, stressing that he would never ever work with Adamu Maina Waziri.
However, there were mixed reactions from the members, especially from zone B, who said he did not speak their Mind and for their general interest and they would never leave PDP.
Although Ngama was a bit economic with using the word decamp, rumours making round, if true, had it that Ali Modu Sheriff has concluded arrangement to decamp to ACP, and so people were of the opinion and conclusions that Ngama and his loyal members would also decamp with him.
