Ahead of the 2015 general elections, the fortunes of the All Progressive’s Congress (APC) in Kebbi state continue to brighten as the party continues to witness the influx of people from the opposition parties, with a gubernatorial candidate, Abubakar Malami (SAN) joining the party yesterday.

The aspirant assured the teeming unemployed youths in the state of empowerment through jobs creation and skill acquisition techniques.

He made this known at the APC’s headquarters yesterday in Birnin kebbi while addressing supporters as he declared his intent to vie for governorship under the platform of the party, saying if elected he would

run an open government that carry along all stakeholders that included youths.

He expressed dismay over the incumbent administration in the state, decrying that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government did nothing much to create job opportunities to the teeming unemployed youths, thereby, engaging them only as political thugs.

Abubakar further said that his rolling plan would first accord priority to youth empowerment, agriculture, health and education, noting that it is the only recipe towards eradicating poverty amongst the citizen.

He expressed optimism that the party would sweep all elections in the state while enjoining party loyalist to continue to support it at all levels of election as he equally reminded them to guard their voters card.

Similarly, he appealed to the general public across the state to live peacefully with one another.
