According to the PDP National Chairman, “We commend our soldiers, but they should not allow themselves to be used to interfere or take side in our electoral processes.
“The security agencies that are supposed to protect Nigerians interest are now taking side, INEC that is supposed to conduct free and fair election are bow taking part. If anything happens to this country, the Chairman of INEC should be held responsible.
“All eyes are on INEC and all our security agencies, what happened in Rivers state is a shame.”We must rise to condemn rigging, vote buying, intimidation in an election by security agencies, if not am quite that 2019 is seating on a gun powder”, the party said.
Secondus therefore advised all the security agencies not fall into the hands of misguided leaders, reminding them that they sworn to uphold an institutions not an individual, not a politician.
“Their loyalty should be to the constitution, not to an individual”, he maintained.
