Our priority is to enhance nutritional education among children -UNICEF

The United Nation Children Education Fund (UNICEF) has said its priority is to ensure that nutritional value and education is enhance among children.
Country Representatives of UNICEF Mohammed Malick Fall, made it known yesterday in Gombe when he paid courtesy call on governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo in his office.
He said UNICEF which is known an international organization was working tirelessly in ensuring that lack of nutritional value and education among children, there is urgent need to end the menace.
According to him, children are being neglected in society where priority attention is not given to them to strive, adding that children are success of any society.
He appreciated governor Dankwambo for his partnership with UNICEF which he said his leadership had shown that the quality government he has mean good thing to the people of the state.
While commending the Gvernor Fall appeal to him not to hesitate in supporting UNICEF and its programme whenever needs arises.
Responding, governor Dankwambo who was overwhelmed with the visit promised to do everything possible in ensuring that his partnership with UNICEF is sustain.
He assured that his government will continue to work hard in ensuring that programme carried out by UNICEF is adequately protected.
The governor called on parents to always maintain their children by making provision of food stuff to avoid them been affected with malnutrition saying that government is doing its best to see that schools across the state was put in good shape for proper learning.
