A retired Commissioner of Police, Chief Jacob Oshiomhogho, has lauded the national Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole for restoring discipline in the party.
He tasked the leadership of the party to nominate a credible candidate to fly the party’s flag in Edo State Governorship election billed for September 19 2020.
Oshiomhogho, who is an APC Chieftain in Etsako Central Local Government Area of the State, stated this at an interactive session with newsmen in Ogbona Community in Etsako West Local Government Area of the State.
He commended the APC National Chairman for helping to rebuild the party and sued for prayers and support for a successful tenure of Oshiomhole.
According to him, “Oshiomhole has brought discipline to the All Progressives Congress that has led to the electoral victories being experienced in the party.
“Anyone seeking the office of governor must reasonably talk tough in order to build the confidence of his followers. Governor Godwin Obaseki has no exit route to get the party’s ticket”.
Speaking on the recent Edo North All Progressives Congress (APC) rally and reception held in Auchi to receive former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) big wigs, the former Delta State Police Commissioner, said the rally was the largest gatherings ever held in the history of the Senatorial district in recent times.
“The rally was a testimony to the fact that the APC, was the party to beat in Edo North in particular and the State at large”, he said.
