Operation Crocodile Smile destroys Yahoo, Yahoo Makeshifts in Delta

As part of measures towards strengthening its security apparatus as well as ensuring security for Deltans, the Nigerian Army bomber operation smile on Tuesday moved into makeshifts erected by Yahoo, Yahoo boys in Asaba, and its environs in Delta state as they were destroyed amidst recovery of charms and fake currencies.
Although, the full operations of” Operation Crocodile Smile” will commence in November first week 2019, but its first unofficial assignment was carried out in Awai and Infant Jesus roads where they destroyed makeshifts suspected to be operational base of Yahoo, Yahoo Boys who have taken over Asaba and Abraka community in the last few months and have executed several evil activities in the state.
The operations leader, Col Nyom Orok who spoke to Journalists in Asaba, said Operation Crocodile Smile was not constituted by Federal Government to witch hunt anybody, adding that the team was in Delta state to collaborate with other security agencies for peaceful coexistence and crime hitch free, especially during nightfall in the state when armed robbers and Kidnappers operate in the open.
Investigation revealed that Yahoo, Yahoo Boys operate within Awai road and Infant Jesus road in makeshifts where they allegedly perform all manner of ritual activities including sexual intercourse with used condoms and sanitary Pads that have littered the environment but Col Nyom Orok leader of the Operation Crocodile Smile has vowed to make lives unbearable for these Yahoo, Yahoo boys in the state during full operations
Recall that Operation Crocodile Smile (1V) was officially flagged off on Monday in Aladja and Ogbe Ijoh communities in Delta state with the state government represented by the Secretary to the state Government ( SSG), Barr Chiedu Ebie, and the Commander of the 63 Brigade, Brigadier General Usman Bello that was represented by Col Nyom Orok.
Flagging off the execise, the Delta state Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa promised the readiness of his led administration to continue to support the operation of the Army in the state to achieve the desired Operational Success required for peace, adding that the operation was a training exercise to help soldiers of 63 Brigade brush up their military capabilities including the overall objective of promoting confidence of Nigeria Army towards curbing crimes especially in checking cases of kidnapping, and cultism and armed robbery.
Governor Okowa speaking further, however commended the Army for carrying out the execise in the state, adding that the Nigerian Army has remained disciplined and very professional in the discharge of its duties and hoped that the exercise will further strenghten the partnership between the Army and the government in working towards the reduction of crime and other violence not only in the state but across the country.
