Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan playmaker, Najeem Olukokun is back from injury and resumed training after recovering from a slight injury he picked up in Lagos at the Agege Stadium when First Bank Football Club narrowly defeated his club by a lone goal in match day 25 of the Nigeria National League (NNL). The former Kwara United player said he was delighted to return to the club after been sidelined for few days as the Oluyole Warriors engage Gabros today in Ibadan. He said he is 100 percent fit and ready to continue from where he stopped.
He said; “I’m fully fit now after the injury, although it was not easy but I thank God for the quick recovery, I want to continue from where I stopped before I was injured in Lagos and help my team achieve the top flight ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League as we face one of the best teams and difficult team in our group.
Nojeem has had stint with Royal Union of Belgium, Niger Tornadoes, Rising Stars, he has scored six goals and made three assist in 16 NNL games this season and has formed an integral part of Frank Howard squad. A win for 3SC against Gabros will brighten their chances of promoting to the elite league.
