Okowa to commence phone-in programmes

Deltans will soon have the opportunity of hearing directly from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on issues bothering their minds on governance in Delta State as the governor has promised to commence phone in programmes on radio and television.
Governor Okowa made the promise while fielding questions at the last quarterly media interaction he had with newsmen at Government House, Asaba recently.
Meanwhile the State Commissioner for Works, Chief James Augoye has given an assurance rehabilitation works will soon commence at the deplorable roads in Enerhen Junction.
The commissioner gave the assurance when he was asked to respond to questions raised on the poor state of the road in Enerhen Junction at the media event.
Chief Augoye disclosed that the contractors handling the rehabilitation project had been mobilized to site.
