Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Mr Sheriff Oborevwori, has said that the deep experience of the state governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, as a former senator in the country, had continued to create better working synergy between the legislative and executive arms of the state government.
The speaker disclosed this during the Thanksgiving service for the second anniversary of the 7th Assembly at The Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), along Ibusa Road, in Asaba, the state capital on Sunday
Speaking on the success of the 7th Assembly, the speaker said that “It is good to give thanks to God in everything and always, and most importantly, the state is blessed with a very experienced governor, who knows the workings of the legislature, and he has continued to create good synergy between the legislature and the executive in the state.”
Oborevwori added that, despite the challenges, the governor had continued to ensure even development by putting a favourable environment on the ground for the creation of prosperity for Deltans and residents in the state, just as the speaker assured Deltans of robust that would bring greater development for their general wellbeing in the state.
