Oil prices rise as U.S. drilling slows
Oil prices rose on Monday, holding near $70 a barrel, underpinned by a slowdown in U.S. drilling activity and falling global stocks.
Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, rose 0.6% to $69.74 a barrel on London’s ICE Futures exchange. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate futures were trading up 0.4% at $65.18 a barrel.(Wall Street Journal)
