The Senator representing Adamawa Central in the Senate, Abdul’ Aziz Murtala Nyako, has condoled with the Nigerian Police Force over an inferno that claimed the lives of two young couples and their daughter, including a newly recruited constable on Tuesday night at Police Barracks in Yola.
In a statement issued in Abuja yesterday, Nyako who also condoled the traders that lost their properties as a result of fire outbreak on Wednesday in the state capital, said that the two incidences that happened were quite unfortunate especially given the critical period.
Describing the police officers as hardworking for demonstrating their commitment to the security of the country, prayed God to grant the dead eternal rest. He also sympathized with the traders that lost their properties in Yola market, praying that God Almighty will restore all that they have lost in the inferno.
Recall that last Tuesday, the residents of Police Barracks in Yola awoke to the sad news of a fire outbreak that claimed the lives of three police officers with a child, while on Wednesday a fire outbreak destroyed properties worth millions of naira in Yola market, both incidence happened at night.
