The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) is leaving no stone unturned and is even not mincing words in their resolve to improving the developmental of Nigeria Volleyball in the country as they make plans to appoint a foreign technical adviser for the National Teams.
President of NVBF, Musa Nimrod who disclosed this in Abuja noted that the foreign technical adviser will not only help in developing the several age grade National Teams but will also help in training the National coaches.
Though, Musa Nimrod did not disclose the Nationality of the foreign technical adviser, he noted that they would go for a top class coach from one of the top volleyball playing Nations.
“We will go for a very good coach at least from one of the top Volleyball playing Nations of the world. We believe that if we have to take our volleyball to the next level then and rub shoulders with the top nations then we have to bring in a foreign coach who will help coach our teams and nurture the game from the grass root,” he said.
On how the coach will be paid, Musa Nimro maintained that it is part of the issue they would present before the Federation International De Volleyball, FIB congress scheduled to hold this week in Mexico.
