Thousands of empower volunteers in Jigawa state yesterday stormed the state’s headquarter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in supports of the state’s empower coordinator, Alhaji Bala Usman Chamo’s ambition to run for the state house of Assembly position in 2019 general election.
The volunteers, majority of who are youths escorted the state’s coordinator to the ruling APC local and state’s secretariats, slogging that we must change! We must change!!.
Speaking while presenting the letter to the APC State chairman, Alhaji Ado Sani Kiri, who was represented by his Deputy, Habibu Sani Sara, Bala Usman Chamo said “as a youth with meddle age trying to encorage my co-youth to use the opportunity of the recent assented law by Mr. President of not too young to run”.
He explained “we know and believe that power belongs to Almighty and we will accept the decision of the party’s members during the primary election”.
According to him “By God wheeling if i succeeded in picking the ticket and voted in to the position i will do my best to promote peace and unity of the people in the constituency, state and country at large”.
He further stated that “I will make sure that all law that will create economy, wealth and empliyment would be given extra attention if i became a law maker in 2019”.
Alhaji Chamo promised to support any aspirant that picks the ticket in free and fair primary election by the party.
Speaking while receiving the aspirant, the APC chairman, Ado Sani, represented by his deputy, Habibu Sani, assured the aspirant that the party (APC) would be justice and fair to all the aspirants in all position for unity and overwhelm victory.
