National President of the Northern Youth Forum (NYF), Alhaji Jibril Tafida has promised to ensure that youth in his constituency are adequately taken care of by providing them with education and skills if elected into the Lower Chamber.
Tafida who is contesting for the Reps under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to represent Kaduna south urged Nigerians, especially youth to accept whatever results that comes out of the 2015 general election to avoid a repeat of the 2011 post election violence.
Tafida who spoke to journalists in Kaduna yesterday about his aspiration said his mission in the lower chamber of the National Assembly was to table unemployment and security challenges of his constituency.
He said, “We are facing so many challenges. Take for instance issues of unemployment and insecurity which is bothering us at the local government. As a representative of the people I will sit down and make consultation with people and know what their needs are and present it to the house to ensure that they are addressed.
“I have been a member of PDP for the past 14 years, since the coming of democracy. Secondly, I think I have something to contribute to the local government, especially now that the party is facing these challenges and we need to do more particularly in uniting and mobilizing people” he said.
