North West APC youth leader empowers 60 women in Kebbi

The National Chairman North West, All Progressive Congress (APC) youth leader, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq has empowered sixty women in Fakai Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
Presenting the empowerment items at the Palace of his Royal father of the Chiefdom, Alhaji Hudu Dan Mallam, the monarch commended the effort of the youth leader for complementing government efforts in reducing poverty in the state.
He said the items will go a long way in supporting women and make them to be self-reliant.
“You, in your capacity as Zonal Youth Leader North West Zone, you presented a relief support to about 60 women from the 10 wards in my domain, Ffakai local government, I commend your effort for that as the youth leader and call on others to emulate the same gesture” he added.
He also called on the beneficiaries to make proper use of the grant in order for them to be self-employed and cannot depend on their husbands.
In his speech the APC chairman of Fakai Local Government, Alhaji Liba expressed satisfaction and confidence on the youths leader over his leadership qualities, described him as a man of honesty and transparency.
He then urged the beneficiaries to use the gesture judiciously while calling on others to emulate the same in order to curb any hardship in the society.
In his remark, the APC Zonal Youth Leader Hon. Abubakar Sadiq said that people of Fakai local government are his family and as such “I need to support them financially most especially women.”
“Why i choose women first is because they need help more than anyone”, while promising them more dividend of Democracy will be provided.”
Sadiq who further emphasisED that the gesture is going to be IN batches while the second batch can be given to the men. Money and some items were among what was given.
