Nomadic Education Boss bags PAN-African leadership award

The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Nomadic Education, Kaduna, Professor Rashid Aderinoye has been conferred with the PAN-African leadership award, by the African Students Union Parliament.

Speaking while conferring the award on Professor Rashid Aderinoye in his office in Kaduna yesterday, Speaker of African Students Union Parliament (ASUP), Rt. Honourable Coulibaly Ahmed, said the ward was informed by the role model and mentorship qualities of Aderinoye. According to him, “the African Students Union Parliament is the umbrella body that covers all students within the 54 AU recognized African countries with core objectives of encouraging corporation

harmonious coexistence among member states’ students for the purpose of students’ exchange program, objective analysis of issues that affects us, encouragement of individuals, stakeholders and public office holders for the much needed Peace, Development and economic stability of our dear continent. In doing this, we seek to find ourselves role models and mentors in life as we found in Professor Rashid Aderinoye.

“Our recipient for today is a detribalized Nigerian, lover of students/ youths and a charismatic personality whose credible credentials of efficient service delivery, high administrative acumen, financial prudence and community service, yet unsung, marks him as an iconic patriot in our African society, worthy of emulation.

Responding after receiving the award, the Executive Secretary, NCNE, Prof. Rashid Aderinoye promised to work hand in hand with the student parliament to ensure provision of qualitative education to the nomads.
